Ten minutes after getting here, we heard a horn off in the distance. Seconds later headlights rolled around the corner, and not two, three, or even four, but FIVE EMDs came into sight. Everything was coming together to pull this shot, but in the last 10 seconds the clouds rolled in... Oh well, still a great shot of an awesome lashup. This was shot just outside of Meriden. |

One great looking 171 |
| Description: |
One my way down to Winona, I came across this nice looking 171 with this former Great Northern SDP40 leading! I believe that this is only one of two that are still in operation in North America. I also came across this train by chance. I had just checked the lights and just as I was about to head out the light popped green and I heard a roar of and EMD in the distance. Minutes later the headlights came into view and I finally got a shot of the 3093. |
